5 ways to match your table design to your wedding theme

When planning your wedding, one of the most exciting aspects is choosing your colour scheme. If you’re not sure where to start you should think about a colour palette or theme that suits the both of you and reflects your style and relationship in some way.

Once you’ve picked your colour palette whether its pastels, golds or pops of colour you can start to bring your vision to life and of course we are at hand to help! From linen to tableware, we can create a beautiful tablescape that will look cohesive and wow your guests.

Here are 5 ways to match your table design to you wedding theme:

  1. Linens and runners

Your table linens are the foundation of your tablescape which gives the perfect opportunity to layer colour and texture. If your colour scheme is blush, gold and ivory start with a neutral tablecloth and add a runner over the top. You can then choose your napkin in an accent colour to add a bit of depth to the table and tie it all together.

  2. Charger plates

Chargers are decorative plates that are used for the base of each guests setting. Each course is served on a separate bowl or plate and placed on top of the charger. These can come in a variety or colours and patterns and elevate the whole look of the table.

  3. Crockery

Your crockery makes a good base for adding a pop of colour or texture if needed. If you’re going for a moody vibe you could opt for dark artisan plates to make a statement or perhaps a gold rimmed plate if you’re looking for something lighter and brighter!

  4. Cutlery

If you want to add a bit of shine to your table, gold cutlery would be the perfect choice for you. Alternatively, if you want something special but not so flashy perhaps an antique bronze or a patterned silver.

  5. Glassware

Choosing the right glassware can really enhance the look of the table. Be mindful of how each piece interacts with the overall theme, sometimes a subtle accent is all you need to elevate the look or even just one coloured piece of glassware is all you need to incorporate your colour palette.

Whatever theme or colour palette you choose for your special day we are here to help, if you’re stuck on where to begin get in touch and we can point you in the right direction!
